Recently new Metropolitan Transport Corporation
(MTC) buses were flagged off covering different parts of the city and suburbs.
However, East Anna Nagar residents say they have not seen any change in the operation
of services.
A long pending demand of the East Anna Nagar Western residents is
for the Metropolitan Transport Corporation officials to provide adequate and
regular bus service through 6th Avenue Road.

Association also request MTC to restore the withdrawn routes. The residents of
Anna Nagar West also want additional services on route numbers 24A, 15A, 15D
and 15 going via 6th Avenue road and East Anna Nagar. New bus routes from the
Anna Nagar West terminus connecting Perambur, Poonamallee, Tambaram and
Ayanavaram will be a great benefit for the residents.
