Onam, the festival of truth, prosperity and
happiness was celebrated in colourful way with great enthusiasm by the students
of Valliammal College for Women, East Anna Nagar.
The students presented a
colourful flower decoration in the form of kolams, clad in the traditional
attire of Kerala “Mandu” invited the festival of harvest with great vigor. The
function was inaugurated by Chairman of Valliammal Group of Institutions,
Mr.A.P.Maikandan, Academic Advisor, Thiru Prof.Dr.S.Valavan. The College
Principal Dr.TVS.Padmaja also graced the occasion.
