Indrajala Puraskara Sandhya was
organized by Indian Magic Academy at Maithri Auditorium, Chinmaya Nagar Stage
II Annexe, Chithirai Street, Virugambakkam, Chennai on Saturday, 18th
August 2012. The chief guest for the function was Mr.D.Jayakumar, Honourable
Speaker, Tamil Nadu Assembly.
The guest of honour was Sri Sarath, Music
Director. Award distribution was done by MK.Unnithan, MD-Sankar Sealing Systems
Pvt Ltd. The award winners were Sri.Sudheer Madakath and Sri Magic Mohan,
famous magicians. E.N.Jayachandran welcomed the gathering. E.Karunakaran
presided over the function. Felicitations were given by Sri.Premier Janardhanan,
Amaravathi Radhakrishnan, Sri.PN.Ravi, Dr.M.Lohithakshan, Sri.PN.Sreekumar.
During the function Mr.Vijay of Remy Garments sponsored and distributed
uniforms to 50 children. The inaugural ceremony was followed by a variety
entertainment. There was a magic show by Sudheer Madakath and an Anti-Alcoholic
Awareness show by Smt.Nirmala Raveendran.
There was mimicry by Ravikumar
followed by mohiniyattam by J.Devika. The function was organized and
coordinated by Shornur Ravi of Indian Magic Academy.The vote of thanks was
rendered by AM.Biju.
