Road Widening Work Begins

Finally, works for widening 100 Feet Road, near Asiad Colony, Thirumangulam has begun. The work is gaining momentum. A huge tree that was an obstruction was pulling down to facilitate the widening process. Official sources said road laying work would be completed soon. 

The widening of the 100 Feet Road is a long pending demand of the area residents. Traffic snarls are very common near Thirumangalam junction as the road is narrow. 

The Corporation of Chennai plans to widen many busy narrow roads in the newly included areas. A list of roads that can be widened immediately is being made by the Chennai Corporation officials.
