Chennai Corporation Plans To Develop Green Parks in Ambattur

Anna Nagar has many spacious and famous Chennai Corporation public parks. Even Koyambedu, Mogappair and Villivakkam have parks and play grounds for the benefit of the area residents. But Ambattur does not have many green public parks. 

In order to give Ambattur area a green look, Chennai Corporation plans to develop parks in and around Ambattur. 

Landscape development of 100 parks in added areas of Chennai Corporation is on the anvil. 

The massive project would be taken up in the newly added Corporation Zones of Manali, Madhavaram, Ambattur etc.The new facilities would be in addition to the 260 such parks in the seven zones of the old city limits. Many of the parks are being developed on OSR land.
