Ambattur Needs An effective Traffic Management System

Driving on Chennai roads is not an easy task. Non functional traffic signals at busy junctions in Ambattur Industrial Estate are hampering the smooth flow of vehicular traffic and jeopardizing the safety of road users. It is reported that non functioning signals at Wavin junction and at Golden Flats along the Ambattur Industrial Road, near Mogappair poses a problem to the vehicle riders.

As the signals do not work, pedestrians are the worse hit. Lack of zebra crossings and  stop lines add to the woes. Traffic signals are installed to insure safe and smooth traffic flow. 

Non function signals have become a hindrance rather than a solution. An effective traffic signal system could be a plausible to daily traffic woes.
