The Metropolitan Transport Corporation has restarted air-conditioned mini bus services from Chennai Airport to Anna Nagar West. The 16-seater Ashok Leyland buses have GPS facility, which helps in monitoring the movement of the vehicles from the head quarters.
They also have automated doors and separate luggage space.
The service to Anna Nagar will stop at Kathipara Bridge, Kasi Theatre, Udhayam Theatre, Ashok Pillar, Vadapalani Police Station, CMBT, Thirumangalam and Anna Nagar West. MTC has set
up a booth at the airport to help passengers. A senior MTC officer said in each route, the Corporation would operate two buses According to the Metropolitian Transport Corporation official sources, all the passing buses proceeding towards Padi, Red Hills, Ambattur, Kolathur, Thiru.Vi.Ka Nagar now are advised to enter into the West bus depot and drop and pick up passengers.
