The busy one way stretch of 4th
Avenue D-Sector, from Park Road till East Main Road in Anna Nagar West
Extension is without streetlights. The road does not have a single post. The
absence of streetlights on this busy Road is posing problems for residents as
well as for motorists.
The illumination from the headlights of vehicles is not
enough on the road. At night pedestrians find it difficult.
The road also has
some rough patches and bright road lights would make driving safe. The road is
being preferred by several motorists to reach Thirumangulam and Anna Nagar West
and Padi. The work to install lights needs to be taken up at the earliest.
