A new approach roads to link 3rd Avenue Road, parallel to the Anna Arch from Poonamallee High Road is getting ready to improve connectivity. The new approach road was laid, to divert traffic due to the flyover construction work.
The link road, will provide a direct access route for vehicles entering 3rd Avenue from Nungambakkam.
The new road is to come up along medicinal farm land which has been acquired for the flyover work. The new road is essentially meant to provide an access road to buses entering Anna Nagar, thereby reducing the volume of traffic.
