JJ Nagar West Terminus Has Poor Passenger Facilities

The JJ Nagar Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus terminus presents a picture of very poor maintenance. The terminus has no proper shelter and basic amenities for the MTC staff as well for the passengers. 

Every time a bus enters the terminus huge dust is created due to the poor road surface. The terminus lacks seats, time schedule board and good lighting facility. Only few buses are operated from the terminus to Broadway and T.Nagar. 

One new route to Koyambedu has been introduced recently. The terminus still requires lot of improvement in passenger facilities. New routes are also required by the residents to important places of Chennai city. 

The residents also stated that there are  no bus services with white board from Mogappair West to Broadway. All buses plying are deluxe. 

They request the MTC for white board us service, so that they can use the ordinary bus pass. The Mogappair West residents hope the authorities will look into the matter at the earliest.
