With the more IT Companies and resident’s complex coming up beyond Mogappair West, Ambattur, Avadi and Padi, the road stretch in Ambattur Industrial Estate is slowing witnessing an increase in the traffic movement.
The crucial junction at Ambattur Industrial Estate has traffic proceeding from and to the MTH Road.
For pedestrians, there are no platforms on either side. Traffic is allowed both sides. The pedestrians' lives are exposed to lot of risk. Owing to heavy traffic, frequent traffic jams occur. It takes a long time to clear the block.
Brighter street lights, center medians with reflector lights, pedestrian pavements and setting up of mast light at busy intersections will help to improve the situation.
The Second Main Road in Ambattur Estate was recently beautified. Hi-tech lights have also been provided. Will the concerned authorities make a note of it?
