The pedestrian footpath and street corner at D-Block, 8th Street at Anna Nagar East is an eyesore. The pavement has open manholes and the street corner has turned to be a dumping spot for debris, waste materials and tree branches. This street has been lying in such a ugly and neglected state for quite some time. Broken tree branches are dumped in addition to the garbage’s.
The place is a sight of regret for the residents. The dirty spot is the cause for health hazards. Let the civic authorities take action to clear the spot and also come up with good measures and awareness programmes to educate the people from throwing waste on road sides.
The garbage’s and debris are making 8th street corner at D Block to look nasty. Immediate attention is deeded to clear and make the spot neat and clean and for providing lids for covering the open manholes.
