An interactive session was recent held by the Anna Nagar Western Extension Members with the Chennai Mayor Sadai Duaisamy. During the meeting, various civic issues were brought to the attention of the mayor.
Issues regarding clearing encroachments along Otteri Nullah and desilting storm water drains and providing storm water drains at w block including D Sector 11th street and C Sector 10th Street. The residents suggested to avoid increasing the road level while getting blacktopped.
The other issues were relying of Park road, providing street lights in 4th Avenue, D-Sector and 8th Street in C Sector. The association members also took up the Millennium Park improvement works and stressed on the need for removal of garbage’s at frequent intervals and eradication of mosquitoes. Mayor assured to take necessary steps to solve the civic issues highlighted.
