20J Is The New Bus Route To Ayapakkam

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has introduced a new bus route to Ambattur Ayapakkam. 

The new route 20J operates from Ayapakkam, Tamil Nadu Housing Board to CMBT Koyambedu. 

Few days back, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had flagged off 464 buses, including 389 new ones, in various routes across the State. 

The buses purchased for the State Express Transport Corporation have special feature better comforts for passengers. About 250 buses are e operated in new routes.

 The CM had recently directed to purchase 3,000 new buses at a cost of Rs 539.83 crore to replace the buses which have been in use for six years or operated for over of seven lakh kilometres. Flagging off the new buses, Ms Jayalalithaa handed over keys of 16 new buses to drivers, advising them to adhere to safety norms.
