Appreciating the foundation’s philanthropic gesture he added “The purpose of earnings attains its fruition with donations and service to the mankind.

Institutions like this will be a great support to the government and will aid towards having a healthy society,” he remarked and added that the service the RYA Cosmo Foundation had rendered during Tsunami is magnanimous and significant.
The new Shantidevi Jawaharmal Chandan Day Care and Parasmal Srisrimal Dialysis Centre has been set up at an investment of around Rs 8 crore. It would provide Multi-Speciality Consulting, Diagnostic Facilities, Emergency Care, and Dialysis Services at subsidized rates to the general public.
The Centre houses a Pharmacy that would provide medicines at free of cost for all patients for the first three days of the prescribed medication period, and at around 15% discounted price for the rest of the period. The Association has appointed doctors panel to provide consulting in Dentistry, Cardiology, Ortho, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Dermatology, and other medical specialties.
Shri. P. Vetrivel, MLA, North Chennai District Secretary, AIADMK; Dr. M.R. Girinath, Chief Cardio-Vascular Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals; Shri. S.P. Chakraborty, Group President (IRF) – Lupin Ltd; and Shri. Jawaharmalji Chandan, Managing Trustee, Jawaharmal Chandan Charitable Trust, were present on the occasion.
