Lions club international with Kutties the First step Play school (W740 D Sector 4th Avenue Anna Nagar West Extn ) celebrated women’s day by conducting Competition for women on March 4th at anna nagar . Competitions like Rangoli on Paper , Cookery , Hair Dressing , Mehendi designing , Pot Painting , fabric Painting , and Games like Musical Chair , Balloon Bursting , Blind Fold ,were conducted from 10.30 am.District Chairman Lion Thulasingam Was the chief Guest who addressed the gathering and distributed the prizes , Asha VijayaRani President of Lions club Villivakkam Spoke on the value of Women and the role to be played .
The programme was started by lighting the Kutthu Vilakku and the Prayer song was sung by Sowndarya and Sowjanaya from Villivakkam .
More than 50 Women from the age group of 20 to 65 took part actively and the programmed ended with the National Anthem .
