Ensuring Anna Nagar Roads Are Well Illuminated

Regular checks are done by the Chennai Corporation in Anna Nagar, to ensure that the roads are well illuminated. The fused bulbs and cable faults are regularly checked and set right. According to the Electricity department official, the complaints of streetlights not working are taken note of and steps to correct the problem is done at the earliest.

While conducting checking, all the lights would be switched on to pinpoint the location of the fault. Repairs were taken up using a mobile van and lift facility. The Corporation’s Electrical Department, is in charge of streetlight maintenance. Recently, the Chennai Corporation Electrical Department has brought down the percentage of non-burning streetlights.
