Dr.M.R.Srinivasan said our Country needs lot of scientists and engineers to address many pressing issues like energy security, and urged the zealous students to pursue science & technology which pose many challenges and opportunities for them.
We must judiciously make use of the scarce natural resources available in India to the maximum benefit of our people. Simultaneously the students should also love & practice arts, music etc which make them more humane.
Shri J.Daniel Chellappa, President of FSCT said the Workshop provides a golden opportunity for those youngsters who have strong passion for Science & Technology (S&T). They would be exposed to the latest developments in various branches by the expert Faculty from IIT and the participants would also be taken to various laboratories and research facilities in IIT which would raise their horizon.
The Workshop would enable them to choose the branch of engineering and science that would most suit their inner calling.
