The ship for the world youth programme is one of the prestigious youth development programme in the world, which is organized by the Government of Japan, is a programme that involves youth from Japan and countries around the world including India. The 24th ship is scheduled to visit Chennai in 12-14th February 2012 .
Around 300 youth from 13 countries like kingdom of Bahrain, Federative Republic Of Brazil, Canada, Arab Republic of Egypt,India,Japan ,New Zealand, Republic of Peru,Russia,Spain, Republic of Sri lanka, Republic of Turkey ,Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela were participating in the programme
.The RGNIYD(Rajiv Gandhi National Institute For Youth Development) is assigned by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports ,Government of India. A team of 50 youth participants will visit ICWO Office as part the learning visit programme.
