Temporary Shelter Brings Relief At CMBT

The photograph shows the side view of the temporary bus shelter at CMBT Koyambedu. The people waiting at CMBT are much relaxed these days, since a temporary bus shelter has made waiting for a bus easy for the passengers. 

The shelter has brought relief for people from the sun and rainfall. Now the passengers can wait in the bus shelter  and need not worry about protection from the open sky. 

Thanks to the timely measures taken by the MTC authorities. In the recent months, the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) at Koyambedu has seen multiple changes, due to the ongoing Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL)work on the elevated stretch between Koyambedu and St. Thomas Mount. 

At present only pillar work is going on at different locations along the MTC bus bays. Additional MTC bus bays with shelters have been built at the entrance of the campus in Koyambedu
