Inauguration Function To Exhibit Creative Talents

The inaugural function of 'Achalam Art gallery was held on 12th January 2012. The gallery was inaugurated by famous  Artist &Actor Mr. S.Sivakumar. 

The  Guest of Honour was art Patron Dr.D.Ramesh,M.D.S. The art gallery  brings  excitement and colour to  artistic talents  through  'Creation of  art beyond all boundaries. 'Achalam art gallery' is born with a desire to take the spirit of appreciation, expression and love for art beyond any boundaries. 

The artistic talent blossoms within every individual irrespective of race, religion ,language or country and each one develops an unique style on their own. 

This gallery is a convergence point to bring forth such art forms .The gallery is  a meeting point to exhibit creative art and exchange imaginative ideas through artistic expressions and Achalam art gallery  acts as a catalyst for exchange of various forms of creativity and art skills with other parts of the world. 

The gallery  value and support the established  artists to showcase their talents  and the gallery  acts as a single point window to know  about the latest happenings in the art world around the world. The gallery will endeavour to  spot youth talent and provide a platform for the young and emerging artists for  launching their works in the art arena and we nurture such talents to gain fame and popularity. This will also  provide them immense learning in the process. "Achalam" stands for mountain. 

The exhibits in the gallery will raise above the peaks and cliffs of the art world to reach the summit. Achalam art gallery is conveniently located at KK Nagar which is a great boon to  the art loving public in nearby localities. This gallery is fitted with special eco friendly metal lamps which gives tremendous advantages like  fewer fixtures installed in ceiling which improves aesthetics and improved viewer's attention on the exhibits ,reduction in watts consumed (annually)benefiting the artists & environment, reduced UV exposure which protects the exhibits, reduced heat generation etc. Achalam will work on securing the  Artist and Art lover's environment and  interests in all spheres of the art  world.
