The city roads are full of two wheelers. At signal junctions The vehicle drivers on Ponamallee High Road near Anna Arch signal continue to take left turn or sometimes driving through the junction even when their signal is red and the pedestrian signal is green.

The Chennai City Traffic Police should take stern action against motorists who violation of traffic rules, especially going through one way roads and wrong side driving. Most vehicle riders hesitate to jump a signal if a policeman is not manning the junction.
Soon, more surveillance cameras will be installed in traffic junctions in the city.
Cameras would make it almost impossible for the motorist to get away with a violation.
The traffic police will also be armed with more digital cameras to snap violations.
