Smt.Durgadevi Choudhary Vivekananda Vidyalaya (A unit of Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya Trust) had its 39th Annual Day Celebration. The Chief Guest was Shri.Manoj Kumar Sonthalia, Chairman and Managing Director, The New Indian Express Group of Publications, Chennai.
The function started with an invocation. The Managing Trustee Shri.Ashok Kedia delivered the welcome address. Shri. Somanathan, Trustee introduced the Guest to the gathering.
The principal of the school Shri. J. Thanukrishnan presented the school annual report. The chief guest in his address advised the students to follow the footsteps of Swami Vivekananda.
The toppers of the CBSE -X Std Board Examination were honoured with certificates and medals. The proficiency prizes were given to the students from LKG to X Std. The Vote of thanks was proposed by the vice-principal of the school Smt.K.Kalyani
