As the construction of the flyover at the Anna Arch junction is in progress. Recently about 5 avenue trees
was recently cut down along 3rd Avenue Road , between Anna Arch and Siddha Medical College, were felled. Also protruding branches of more than 10 trees were chopped off due to work of the flyover at the junction of Poonamallee High Road, Nelson Manickam Road and Anna Nagar Third Avenue.
