A month long festival of classical music and dance is oganised under the auspices of Sree Anandabhairavi, a cultural organisation. The event, Raaga and Expressions was inaugurated by Mrs Shoba Chandrashekar, Honorary Director of Tamil Nadu Government Music schools in the presence of Swarnamalya Ganesh, dancer, research scholar, actor and London based Nandini Muthuswamy, International Violinist. L Ramaswamy, director of Express Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, presided over the function.
KP Vijayakumar, founder of Sree Anandabhairavi said that Raaga and Expressions is the fifth edition of their annual margazhi music festival. In her inaugural speech, Mrs Shoba Chandrashekar lauded the initiative of popularising classical performing arts by reaching out to the people.
