As the festival season is fast approaching, City Police has increased their patrol duty especially at bust places. For effective monitoring, the Chennai Police has stepped up patrol in the city areas. At important junctions police personnel have been posted to monitor law and order situation.
In order to prevent chain-snatching incidents, Police will maintain strict vigil and keep a check on anti-social activities. Police Patrol vehicles will be constantly moving around the place and in case of any emergency, Police officials will be at the spot immediately without any delay. Police will have a watch persons moving around suspiciously will be interrogated.
