Training Courses For The Under Privileged

Surabi is a registered social organization located at Villivakkam, Chennai rendering various services to the under privileged sections of the society. On 12^th of November 2011 at Surabi Trust in association with UST Global & Aum Education Trust have distributed certificates for those women who have completed 3 months vocational course in cutting & sewing (Tailoring). 24 Women have been passed out in this batch. Most of them have secured

A grade and all have prepared an album with miniature

samples of their stitching models. Friends from UST have participated

enthusiastically and distributed certificates. 

Tailoring course is exclusively for women and 30 women are trained for every 3 months in 16 types of ladies and children wear. Women are encouraged to work as self employed from their homes, in export units and to start their own small scale business units. 

We have totally 3 tailoring units at Surabi, Veppampattu and Poondi. Surabi help the underprivileged, economically backward people in respect to their health, and education. Surabi's mission is to provide best quality education to every destitute under privileged person.
