The telescopic Sky watch program was inaugurated by Mr.Saravanan, Chennai Corporation Councillor in the presence of G.Thangaraj, Dist coordinator, National Green Corps(NGC) and N.Ramesh HM at Chennai HS school, Vyasarpadi.
Around 750 students waited in the long queue watch Moon, Venus and a few stars at a close view and students doubts were explained and cleared by M.Ravikumar, Secretary, FSCT. Earlier he showed the Black spots of Sun during the day and explained its nature.
Also use of solar cooker and its applications were explained. The parents and public who viewed this were excited of the program that too in their locality. The councillor made elaborate arrangements for this event. G.Thangaraj, DC/NGC/DOE Government of Tamil Nadu on 98840 23824.
