Motorists driving along Anna Nagar Second Avenue road will not miss seeing a statue of a large bird on the center median.
A close view of the bird, makes it to look more realistic with wings and large beak kept open.
It appears as if the bird is ready to fly away. Its a sculptural product.
Chennai Corporation has also installed traditional statues along traffic islands in the city.
