The eight year anniversary celebration function of RIPE Group, an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified Training Organization was held on October 31, 2011. Mr. P J Venkataraman, General Manager, RIPE welcomed the gathering. Professor JL Narasimhan, Internationally Reputed Language Trainer, Mr. Ramkumar, well noted Spiritual Speaker was among the prominent dignitaries for the grand celebration. Mr. Ramkumar highlighted on the topic “Training is Transformation” as part of Chief Guest address. He highlighted the importance of values like Service, Dedication, Commitment and Sincerity during his speech.
Mr. P Ramalingam, CEO, RIPE while addressing the gathering expressed concern at the diminishing values in the areas of attitude amongst the general workforce in the country. He also expressed hope that the above situation can be easily transformed with the advent of value based training for the employees, in general.
Mr. V Vijay Anand Sriram, ED RIPE gave a clarion call for bringing about ethics in the training industry. He urged the invitees to treat Training as Career for Passion and Satisfaction than money and short term gain. He highlighted on the lack of quality training scenario prevailing in many sectors and also about mushrooms of new entrants to training with primary focus on commercializing training.
Mr. J. Krishnan, Senior Manager, read out the Annual Report. After the Annual Report there was variety show organized by RIPE Network Trainers and a round table on “Defining Training as an Industry”, more than 50 delegates attended the function.
