Water logging is a major problem resident’s face during rainy days at the Mogappair West bus terminus. It is reported that heavy rainfall causes severe water logging at the Metropolitan Transport Corporation Mogappair West bus terminus.
The stagnant rain water is causing trouble to hundreds of commuters in boarding and getting down from the buses at the terminus.
The road surface in the terminus is lying in a bad condition without any blacktopping.
Rains make the place slushy and muddy. Another factor that discourages people from using the terminus is the absence of a shelter and benches
. A MTC official said plans are in the pipeline to renovate and improve the bus terminus.
