A cable post standing towards the centre of Inner Ring Road near SBOA School Road signal junction, Thirumangalam is posing a hindrance and danger to the road users. There is a risk of motorists smashing into the post as everyday, over hundreds of vehicles use the stretch to reach the city.
The concerned officials should shift the cable posts to the extreme corner of the stretch. In the city roads, especially when road widening takes place, at many places posts are found standing towards the middle of the road waiting to be relocated.
This causes problems not only to the motorists but pedestrians as well.
