The NSS Unit of Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar East, had organised a one day orientation programme for the NSS volunteers. The chief guest for the programme, Mr.Raja Hussain, NSS State Coordinator, University of Madras, enlightened the NSS volunteers with his impressive speech on the various activities of the NSS Unit. The Special Guest Mr.J.S.Santhanam, Chief Director, Quest delivered a speech on Mind to Mind and also highlighted the importance of yoga. The function was graced by Dr.TVS Padmaja, Principal of Valliammal College for Women. Nearly 200 NSS volunteers participated in the orientation programme.
