The photograph taken shows the Chennai Metro Rail work going on near KMC Hospital, Kilpauk, Poonamallee High Road.At the Kilpauk Medical College Hospital on the same road, an alternative route has been planned to enter the premises as the main entrance is taken over by the Metro Rail project.
To facilitate smooth construction of the Chennai Metro lines, a few parks along the Poonamallee High Road now under the management of the Chennai Metro Rail Corporation (CMRL).Thiru-vi-ka Park, Nehru Park has been closed due to the Metro work.
