24th Yuva Utsav Inauguration Function

 Kumari Vinisha Kathiravan enthralled the audience with Solo Bharathanatyam performance for the  inaugural function of 24th Yuva Utsav of Bharat Kalachar, on 25^th September 2011. 

Kumari Vinisha Kathiravan, Disciple of Danseuse Smt. Urmila Sathyanarayanan, kept the audience spell bound with her captivating Solo Bharathanatyam recital. Vinisha’s performance was an alluring audio-visual treat with accompanists Guru Bharadwaj on Mrudangam, Ramana on Flute, Saikripa Prasanna on Nattuvangam, and Jothimathi on Vocal. 

Kumari Vinisha Kathiravan is a child prodigy, who at the age of seven performed a solo classical dance that was well received at a function held to honor playback singer K.J. Yesudas. 

She has also won many trophies at that young age. She has  won appreciations from several cultural exponents including Educationist Mrs. Y.G. Parthasarathy, Mrs. Chithra Visweshwaran, Playback singers S. Janaki and S.P. Balasubramaniam, and Music Director Sri. Deva. 

Since her Arangetram on March 14, 2010, she has been performing regularly in major dance events. She is a ninth standard student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Hr. Sec. School, Anna Nagar. Her school Principal Mrs.Gowrilakshmi has been a pillar of support. Vinisha’s parents Mr.KV.Kathiravan and Mrs Jayasudha encourages and supports her a lot.
