Tattvamasi, a non profit society formed by group of like minded people organised their first stage event on August 31, 2011 at Sarvasiddhi Vinayagar Temple , Madipakkam , Chennai 91.
The event marked the beginning of Chathurthi celebrations in the Temple.
The event started with Omkar chanting after which the Tattvamani theme prayer was recited by all members.
Yoga Chadra , Master V.Vijay Krishna recited Eswar Sruthi followed by Spiritual Discourse on the topic
" Ganesha the Universal Consciousness" by Mr. Ramkumar, Senior Manager, Canara Bank a well noted spiritual speaker, the audience were spell bound by his deep knowledge, anecdotes, jokes and his ability to drive the concepts in a easy and most interesting delivery style. After the discourse team Tattvamasi sang lovely song on Lord Ganesha.
The uniqueness of the bhajans were many songs were written and composed by members. Some fine songs like Om Ganapathy, Prabho Ganapathy, Raja Ganapathi, Folk Type Thanthananthinam were special highlight.
Earlier Mr. Ashok, General Secretary, Tattvamasi welcomed the gathering and thanked the organisers ( Sri Ayyappan Mandali) for their immediate acceptance for the event. Mr. V.Vijay Anand Sriram , President, Tattvamasi Society briefed about the activities.
One of the special highlight of the event was two new members joined Tattvamasi, Mr. Venkataraman ( Cancer Survivor) and percussionist aged 70 and Selvi, who recited Hanuman Chalisa was given honorary membership.
