An Enthusiastic Celebration At SBIOA School

The Teachers’ day, an annual event of the school, was celebrated with enthusiasm by the staff of SBIOA Model Matric. & Hr. Sec. School. Dr. J. Ebenezer Samraj, Principal of the school, extended a warm welcome and introduced the guests on the dais. 

Shri. T.P. Chandrasekaran, Correspondent of the school, delivered the presidential address. Dr. J. Ebenezer Samraj, Principal of the School, announced that Mrs. Gita Charles, Academic Supervisor of the Department of English, was the recipient of the” Teacher of the year” award and read a citation about the accomplishments of the awardee to the loud applause of the gathering. 

The chief guest Rev. Dr. B. Jeyaraj S.J., Principal of Loyola College, Chennai, presented the award to Mrs. Gita Charles.Mrs. Gita Charles, the awardee thanked the management for the honour rendered to her through the award. The variety entertainment programme executed by the staff included a special song, English skit, a puppet show, a dance and a magic show by the department of kindergarten, a fusion dance and a fashion show. Mrs. Rajeswari Vasudevan, Secretary of the Staff Association, proposed the vote of thanks.
