The annual Surabi puraskar award presentation for the year 2011 was held on 28th August 28, 2011at Kamaraj Arangam Chennai. Sri.H.Vasanth kumar (Vansanth & Co), Sri.Jeyachandran (Madras City properties), Sri K.S.Gopal (Chairman Pranavam Service society),Sri.M.A.Salim (Patron of Pranavam service society) was on dais.Sri. B.Sankar Mahadevan (Founder Udhavum Ullangal) has received the award on the august presence from Sri.H.Vasanthkumar.
Ms.Dr.Sailakshmi (Ekam Foundation) has the second recipient of SURABI PURASKAR. Sri. Salim had released Surabi souvenir and handed over the first copy to Sri.K.S.Gopal. Sankar’s Sadagaparavaigal had performed wonderful, delightful melodies of Ilayaraja.
