The thick greenery along Anna Nagar roads is getting less day by day. Trees are environmental asset provided they are properly maintained.
However, if not properly maintained, trees can become a hazard and a cause for a serious environment concern.
The hopes of tree-lovers in Chennai, are saddened due to dying of many avenue trees. Many environmentalists are concerned about the city which is slowly losing its green cover.
