The renovation work of Villivakkam Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus terminus has been completed. The bus terminus now sports a new and fresh look. The terminus has new painted compound wall and raised platforms at the bus bays. This was done in order to prevent rain water stagnation during monsoon period which was one of the problems faced by the passengers at the Villivakkam bus terminus. To avoid inundation, the floor level was raised. The roof would also be changed. Route numbers 27D, 47, 20 and 48 are some of the popular route operated from the Villivakkam Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus terminus.
