Uneven Spots On Avenue Roads

Although Anna Nagar area has good quality roads, still there are a few uneven drainage chamber spots which makes driving risky. 

The  protruding sewer manholes on uneven road portions, not relaid, pose a serious threat to motorists, especially two-wheeler riders and pedestrians as well. The concerned authorities should take measures so that the man hole level is not higher than the road surface. 

This will be a good news to the long suffering motorists. Manholes along the roads in the city is also a problem and equally dangerous for motorists. The most probable cause is that the manholes perimeters were not covered evenly with the road surface when resurfacing of roads are done. Many accidents happened due to motorist's action to avoid these uneven manholes.

Again, the reason is development, new development requires additional laying of underground cables, drainage etc and due to this, more manholes are added.

As a safety measure, the concerned authorities should  ensure that the manhole covers are on level with the road surface.
