Roof gardens are most often found in urban environments. Plants have the ability to reduce the overall heat absorption of the building which then reduces energy consumption.A one day training programme on “Roof gardening” will be conducted by the Urban Horticulture Development Centre (UHDC) of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, on 09.06.2011 (Thursday) between 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
