The signal installed at the pedestrians crossing in front of D.G. Vaishnav College, Poonamallee High Road, Arumbakkam is not activated. This signal is activated will be helpful for the college students to cross the busy main road. It is reported that no action has been taken till date in activating the signal which has not been working for days. This picture of the damaged and blank signal in front of D.G. Vaishnav College, tells the story quite well. It has remained in this state for a long time. How can the Traffic authorities enforce road safety rules when the signal is not working? Let the concerned authorities ponder over this!
