The monthly meeting of Saliyar’s Mahajan Sangh Chennai Branch was held on 29th May 2011 at 10.00am at Mahalakshmi Builders, No-107/ 59, P.S.Sivaswamy Salai, Mylapore, Chennai 4. The meeting was presided over by Shri Aru Thanumalayan, M.Sc ( Retd Prof Radiology Dept, Madras University) in the presence of Prof.C.Palanichamy , M.A, President of the branch.
The meeting commenced with prayers by Pulavar S.Karuppusamy. Shri T.Pragatheeswaran, D.M.E, Vice-President of the branch welcomed the gathering. After Arupukkotai Shri T.S.Thavasimanai’s poetry, Shri.S.Thurunavakkarasu greeted all those members who celebrated the birthdays and wedding days during the period under review.
Prof. Dr.S.Govindarajan P.hd ( SRM Engineering College Chennai) delivered a speech on computer education and its job opportunities. The branch’s website was inaugurated by Shri C.Palanichamy, M.A, President of the Branch and Shri S.Narayanan, B.E, Proprietor of Guru Homes on behalf of Shri K.Shridhar, M.Com, MBA, Ph.D. The meeting concluded wit the vote of thanks by Shri A.Palaniswamy Co-ordinating Secretary of the Branch.
