Sri Sai Vidhya Arambham, at No 70, Thirumangalam road, Villivakkam, will conduct a free workshop for teachers and parents on the importance of Montessori Education in early childhood education. The workshop will be from 8th to 22nd May 2011.
There will be a special session on Sundays. Parents who have child of 2 1/2 yrs are welcome to attend . those who live close to Villivakkam are given in first session. Montessori Education is child friendly. This methodology can be taken and followed up to 12 std .
But it can very well be followed up to 5th std where basic education takes place Through this methodology the child is understood by the teacher and parent and the potential of the child is directed in right direction. Also if a child is not performing to his/her physical age can very well be identified in the early stage and can be given right kind of methodology to improve the capacity of the child Now- a-days parents and teachers are not able to attend the child individually to understand the potential rather insists to study and score marks which makes some children get depressed leads them to commit suicide or become any unwanted criminal .
We see lot of such news in papers daily and when the public exams results are announced many NGO s need to work for such events do not happen .
