The Nungambakkam railway station witnesses commuters daily walking across railway tracks, putting their lives at risk instead of using the Foot Over Bridge (FOB).
Despite safety awareness campaigns, train commuters in suburban railway station still tend to cross the track instead of taking the foot over bridge to reach the platform quickly.
Talking on cell phone while crossing the railway tracks has caused many accidents. Don't risk it!, impatience can be fatal. It takes a train many meters to stop, therefore, never try crossing the railway tracks.
