Haddows road is an oasis of greenery. There are trees, trees and more trees found along this road. These trees serves as a shield against the sun by day. Haddows Road being one way, vehicles from both sides of College Road enter it to reach Nungambakkam High Road. A few meters from Shastri Bhavan, one encounters on the right side number of a trees, giving the entire road a green look.
