The automatic traffic signal installed at the junction of Shanthi Colony main road and 100 Feet Road in Thirumangalam, opposite Kendriya Vidyalaya School and Central Government Staff quarters has not been functioning for the past many days.
This is causing great inconvenience to the pedestrians, especially school children and elders to cross the road during peak hours. Let the Traffic Police Department take steps to activate the traffic signal so as regulate the vehicle traffic movement and also help the pedestrians to safely cross the road.
