Motorists Struggle To Pass Damaged Manhole


 While, driving on the city roads, one witnesses  problems of chaotic traffic, poor traffic regulation, uneven speed-breakers and overflowing manholes. These risky spots on the roads take their toll on the riders. Motorists struggle to pass a damaged manhole at Anna Nagar East , near Chintamani signal on Wednesday, 6th April 2011. 

Motorists have to manoeuvre overflowing manholes on many stretches, especially on interior and small roads where no emergency repair works have been undertaken. Potholes and dips causes damage to the suspension, steering box and shock absorber of  the vehicles.

The dug up manhole along the  Avenue Road, East Anna Nagar near Chintamani bus stop is posing a for motorists. This road is a vital link connecting Round Tana. During peak hour motorists find it tough to cross the road.

The consequences of this  spot are being borne by residents, shop-keepers and motorists. The Second Avenue Road,  is an extremely busy road that is used by hundreds of buses and other heavy vehicles. Traffic congestions have became common at this particular point every day.
