The photograph shows a young girl taking the recognition detection procedure for getting the Unique Identification Authority of India, Government of India-Aadhaar identity card and number,at Kambar Colony, Anna Nagar on 19th April 2011.
A fingerprint scanner was also used to capture a digital image of the fingerprint pattern. Face detection recognition system a part of the process. The Aadhaar project which aims to give an Unique Identity to every citizen was recently launched in Chennai city.
